Improve your Riding on Mallorca
Mallorca
Spain
This estate, dedicated to the world of horses, has become a compelling visit for horse riders and lovers of the peaceful Mallorcan countryside. Surrounded by idyllic natural beauty of the Mallorcan Levante hills, here you can enjoy one of the best riding holidays ever.
The riding estate is located in the southeastern part of the island, the most famous one of the Balearean - close to protected areas with undisturbed nature and a varied landscape - and only four miles from the sandy beaches of Es Trenc and Cala Mondrag.
The hotel, which has become the heart of the estate, has ten comfortable private rooms and a Clubhouse (with a bar, restaurant, swimming pool, terraces and small spa facility). It is built in the traditional style of a country home and decorated in a functional and comfortable yet rustic way, with all the necessary facilities for a relaxing vacation. It is your home for the week for instructions and trail rides.
There is an arena for dressage and jumping instructions as well as for beginner lessons. You can design your riding program individually from day to day.
It can include instructions on Andalusian stallions in dressage and show jumping as well. You can also book additional lessons or trail rides locally. There are several shorter and one full day ride for riders with some riding experience into the countryside each week. Some excursions may include riding at the beach (horses are transported there by vehicle). You will ride well schooled and Andalusian and other Spanish and Mallorquin horses, most of which have been bred and raised on this reputable stud farm. There are many other activities and excursions available - we recommend to rent a car for the week for greatest flexibility --

The week
You can choose your riding program a la carte - ride as much as you like, or combine riding with relaxation and sightseeing and beach vacation.
For more experienced riders there is the option to train dressage on the Andalusian stallion. For less exprienced riders we suggest group lessons combined with trail rides, where we will slowly build up your confidence during the week.
There are lessons in the arena to improve your general riding, dressage and/or show jumping lessons. The rides build up gradually with one or two hours for the first couple of days and the remaining days are full day rides to explore the local hills and to the beaches of the north of the island. The A la carte program only include breakfast, leaving you the the most flexibility throughout the day - renting a car is inexpensive if ordering in advance and is a good option for you. There are many sights to see and even Palma is only an hour away - always worth a visit during the day or at night.
Sample week (all inclusive option with training on Andalusian stallion):
Day 1: Arrival at the finca and riding center. During a welcome drink we will go over the week's itinerary. Check into your room. In the afternoon you may opt to take one of the bikes and explore the area, or just wander around, see the horses, check out the facilities with the small spa etc. During dinner you will get to know your riding partners for the week.
Day 2 and 3: After a extensive breakfast the first instruction session on your stallion Andalusian is waiting for you. These exquisit proud animals with their good nature are a pleasure for any riding enthusiast. Then relax, enjoy a nice lunch, take a siesta and toward the late afternoon you have the opportunity for a nice trail ride. A delicious dinner and the day.
Day 4: Today we ride to the Cloister of Consolacion - a fascinating place with lots of history and culture to explore.
Day 5: Morning lesson on the stallion Andalusian and trail ride in the late afternoon - leaving enough time for you to go and explore, sightsee or laze on the beach. (transfers and be arranged at extra cost).
Day 6: A nice extensive trail ride in the morning - the afternoon is free to explore or you can opt for more instructions (you can decide locally).
Day 7: Morning your last lesson on the stallion Andalusian and trail ride in the late afternoon - leaving enough time for you to go and explore, sightsee or laze on the beach. (transfers and be arranged at extra cost).
Day 8: Departure after breakfast.

The beautiful island of Mallorca boasts an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. Mallorca is typically Mediterranean with hot, dry summers in the high 20°s (low 80°Fs) and mild winters, with the temperatures roughly half that of summer. The sea regulates extreme temperatures and pleasant sea breezes also keep hot days from becoming too unpleasant. Mallorca experiences irregular rainfall, mostly tending to fall between autumn and winter.
